sold out collabortative event featuring SOM'MA, the
Craneman Project, dance by Leila Sadeghi and the visual
artistry of Lynn Augenstien. SOM'MA lineup consisted of
Jeff Stott performing electronic compositions, Oud &
Yali Tanbur, Shirzad Sharif performing Tonbak, Daf,
Tanbur & Santoor, Pourya Khademi performing Violin
& Tonbak & John Connell performing Ney
& Daf.

2006 at the Karma Lounge in Washington, D.C., February 7th 2006 at the Kush Lounge in New York City &
February 11th 2006 at the Brooklyn Lyceum in Brooklyn, NY all part of the first Som'ma east coast tour and lounge sessions featuring Shirzad & his lovely wife
Neda Sharif, Mavi from the Romka dance ensemble, Leila Sadeghi, Jeff Stott on electronics and Middle Eastern strings, Shirzad Sharif on Tanbur, Tonbak, Dohol & Daf.

first SOM'MA performance at the La Peņa cultural center in Berkeley, CA
December 21st 2002. A very special performance indeed,
this concert featured Alan Kushan (Santoor), Amir
Koushkani (Tar), Shirzad Sharif (Tonbak) and Mary Ellen
Donald (Riqq & Darbuka)

debut of a new lineup and new beginning featuring Jeff
